Netrepid, Inc. Receives 2009 Best of Business Award
Small Business Commerce Association's Award Honors the Achievement
SAN FRANCISCO, March 13, 2009, Netrepid, Inc. has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Duns Support Record, nonclassifiable establishment category by the Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA). The Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce that Netrepid, Inc. has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Duns Support Record, nonclassifiable establishment category.
The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country. Using statistical research and consumer feedback, the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off statistical research and also information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports. Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.

Netrepid has been selected by a National 4G cellular provider to troubleshoot and repair various parts of the network that are not performing properly. Two crews will be deployed to Philadelphia. One left today and the second leaves on Monday.

Local county selects Netrepid to redesign a 70' custom tower. This will act as a hub point to connect the local county offices to the main data center. The project is expected to take about 18 months total.

The wireless crew in Canada will be returning on the 8th of September. They have completed a 6 week tour in Quebec building new 4G sites. This was a long trip and a lot of hard work. Congratulations guys!!

Netrepid was one of the first 20 companies to be certified by NATE and OSHA as a safe tower company. This program has decreased the number of tower related deaths by 40%. Certainly this is a huge accomplishment in the tower industry. Here is a link to the requirements for this program and the annual report for the program.

Netrepid became a certified Cisco partner today. This will allow Netrepid to design and sell Cisco products to their customer base.

Netrepid became a VMWare Professional Solutions Provider. This required a high level of training from the engineering and sales teams. Being a VMWare partner will allow Netrepid to design, build, and maintain virtual server environments for internal ...use as well as for customers. This technology will help drive down capital and operational expenses and improve productivity, reliability, uptime, and efficiency.

Netrepid just hired a new Senior Project Manager today. She has over 8 years of project management experience and has her PMP certification. Her experience managing wireless, IT, and application development projects will be ideal as Netrepid continues to grow.

Netrepid just hired a new Senior Network Administrator today. He comes with 15 years of experience in Windows Servers, Cisco switching and routing, Unix Operating Systems, and other related IT systems and components. We are very excited about this addition to our growing company.

On Friday, June 19th, 2009, Netrepid successfully completed the acquisition of a Harrisburg based ISP. The combined resources of the two companies will allow Netrepid to provide a greater variety of services as well as a dedicated NOC and call center.
