Wireless Site Survey

The purpose of a wireless site survey is to check for all necessary information to properly scope an installation. This not only includes hardware placement but also includes cable paths, termination points, and grounding systems. In addition, the Netrepid team is equipped with tools such as spectrum analyzers to check for any ambient RF noise that might interfere with the proposed installation. As part of an outdoor wireless survey the team will physically inspect the entire link path for possible obstructions in order to plan for the required height of the antennas. Once all of these factors are compiled, a link analysis can be completed which verifies the antenna height and size necessary for the proposed link. The subsequent report provides a detail document outlining the entire proposed solution.
