08 Jul Harrisburg Startup Week Announced
Last year, Harrisburg played host to a pretty outstanding Startup Weekend (you may have read about that somewhere else on this blog :)). Following the success of that event, the people who brought Startup Weekend to Harrisburg last year have upped the ante in 2014 and will now be hosting a full Startup Week.
Harrisburg Startup Week is seven days of events celebrating Central Pennsylvania startups, the many groups that support them, and the people that make them happen!
Just like last year, the region’s startup founders are going to open their doors, put on events and roll out the red carpet for both locals and visitors who are interested in learning more about the startup scene in Central PA.
Harrisburg Startup Week 2014 Events
The 2014 lineup runs for Harrisburg Startup Week runs from September 29th through October 5th and is packed with daily events consisting of:
- Morning coffees
- EPIC mentor office hours
- A High School Pitch contest
- Technology meet-ups
- Open houses
- Happy hours
- A Startup Movie Festival and Cocktail Party
- A Technology Gala
- and, of course, Startup Weekend Harrisburg 2014, where more than 100 entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs are expected to come together to build a startup in weekend.
