The Nomination Process Of Sam Coyl For Veteran Small Business Person Of The Year

In consideration for the Veteran Small Business Person of the Year award, Coyl was nominated by Melissa McLaughlin, director of business finance at the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce and CREDC.

“It was an honor to nominate Sam for our region’s Veteran-Owned Small Business Person of the Year award,” said McLaughlin. “Sam demonstrates a determination, vision and leadership befitting not only his Marine Corps brotherhood, but which are required for all successful entrepreneurs.”

Netrepid is a service-disabled veteran owned business and one of about 727,000 small businesses in Eastern Pennsylvania eligible for nomination for this year’s SBA awards. According to the business directory managed by the National Veteran Owned Business Association, Netrepid is also one of over 1400 veteran owned businesses in Pennsylvania.

Every year since 1963, the U.S. Small Business Administration has taken the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners, and others from across the nation through National Small Business Week. Once again this year, events will be taking place across the country to engage the small business community and highlight their importance as innovators and job creators who strengthen the nation’s economy.

Netrepid will be hosting an event to commemorate Sam’s recognition in conjunction with the Eastern Pennsylvania Small Business Administration on Monday, June 2. Details about that event are forthcoming.
